My name is Mattahn McNair and I’m a classical guitarist. I love music and it makes me happy seeing people enjoy music too. The classical guitar is an amazing instrument and no mater what experience level you are, there is always something to learn and being 12 years of age, I have a lot to go! As an enthusiastic performer, I play at many venues around the coast. Music is something that can bring different types of people together. I love all styles of music and I get asked “What is your favorite style?” Though I don’t play all of them, I love them equally and have been playing for 4 years. When you play the guitar, moving your fingers it feels free and there is no limit to how fast or slow you can go. To anyone who is not involved with a form of music, you’re missing out on something special! To anyone at the Mooloolaba Esplanade – on the weekend, look out for me performing at either Gloria Jeans or Starbucks.
